If you are an enthusiastic singer who reads music, has extensive choral background and would like to try singing with a very supportive group of women who strive for excellence, let the singing begin! Encore! Women's Choir is directed by Michelle Weckesser. Contact Michelle if you'd like to join us. The dedicated and fun-loving members of Encore! share their love of singing with their community through scheduled concerts and participation in local events in Duncan, BC, and throughout the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. Encore! performs sacred and secular music, serious and light, and also enjoys performing comedic numbers as some of its members are seasoned musical theatre performers. The choir presents two full concerts a year, one at Christmas and one in the spring, and appears regularly at local events and at one or more music festivals each year. Hear Us Now

In April 2015, Encore! participated in the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival, singing Ave Maria, by Guy Forbes, and The Battle of Jericho, arranged by Brian Trant. Both songs were recorded live by the festival organizers, and are posted below.
